Sweet Home P.E.O. Chapter DD has awarded scholarships to four Sweet Home women.
Luka Ogden, Zoey Erevia and Isabel (Sayer) Ertsgaard were each awarded the Oregon Scholarship, while Brittany Warren received the Program of Continuing Education (PCE) grant.
P.E.O. programs are funded in large part by the support Sweet Home gives to local P.E.O. events, such as its annual Bunco Party.
P.E.O. is dedicated to helping women achieve their educational dreams. Anyone who would like to recommend a recipient is welcome to contact any member.
The chapter will hold its annual Bunco Party from 2 to 5 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the Evangelical Church gym in Sweet Home. The event will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, silent auction items, raffle baskets and a craft table, all supporting P.E.O. Chapter DD and helping provide funding for future grants.
