A Sweet Home man died Saturday evening, Oct. 10, after being struck by a bullet fired, authorities say, by a nearby hunter.
Linn County Sheriff Michelle Duncan reported in a statement released Sunday afternoon that at approximately 5:48 p.m. Saturday, the Linn County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence in the 24000 block of Springer Road near Sweet Home.
