LeAnna Pitts

LeAnna Pitts, 52, of Eugene, tragically passed away on Oct.1, 2026. Born on July 29, 1974, to Michael and Betty Hodges, LeAnna was known for her kindness, resilience, and deep love for family.
LeAnna moved to Lebanon in 1986 with her family and attended East Linn Christian Academy before attending Lebanon High School. She later lived in Sweet Home and commuted daily to her job at the University of Oregon until moving to Eugene in 2024.
She served as director of work management and administrative support at the University of Oregon and earned degrees in business administration, business management and organizational leadership.
LeAnna’s greatest joy was her family. A devoted mother and grandmother, she cherished time with her children and three grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping, hiking, crafting, thrifting, and collecting vintage holiday décor.
She will be remembered for her warm spirit, strength, and unconditional love.
LeAnna is survived by her children, Keri (Sam) Fountain and Alex (Samantha) Pitts; her three grandchildren; her mother, Betty Hodges; and her siblings, Tyler (Janelle) Hodges, Chris (Lindy) Hodges, and Jenni (Dan) Foster.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Hodges.
