Aaron Anthony Womack, 50, of Sweet Home, died Feb. 13, 2025.
He was born March 18, 1974 in Lebanon to Dallas Leo Womack and Theresa Diane (Hackworth) Womack.
He lived in Sweet Home all his life and attended Foster and Liberty grade schools, Sweet Home Junior High and Sweet Home High School. He earned his GED in 2008.
Aaron worked in the woods until going to work for the Local 29 Ironworkers, where he did structural fabrication, rebar and construction after passing his apprenticeship and becoming a journeyman.
He loved Louis L’Amour books, fishing, rock hunting, collecting old and antique things. He loved to sing and dance to his favorite country music by Willie Waylon, Hank Williams, Jr., Johnny Cash, etc. His favorite activity was keeping family and friends laughing and entertained.
Aaron is survived by his parents, Allen and Theresa Hall and Dallas Womack; siblings Courtney (Cyrus) Hankins, Kelsey (Chris) Ciullo, Adam (Heidi) Womack, and Brian (Kayla) Womack, all of Sweet Home; nieces and nephews Wyatt, Freddie, Madison, Elizabeth, Nevada, Tyler, Lexi, Jace, Hunter, Lucas all of Sweet Home; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elbert Hackworth (2002); Gwenda Hackworth (2016); Lynn Womack (1990); Nancy Womack (2004); and Donna Richter (1993); and stepmom Jan Womack (2021).
Viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 8, at the Elks Lodge in Sweet Home. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
