My question is why should the aquatics director be cut from the School District 55 staff?
If all of the administrators would donate $5,000 from their salaries, along with the $40,000 the pool already generates, all of the pool programs could continue as they were.
If putting the community and students first is really of utmost importance to the administrators, this shouldn’t really be a problem.
After all, with a $5,000 donation from the administrators’ salaries, they would still be higher paid than your highest-paid teachers.
