Adrian “Ade” H. Gonia, 97, of Sweet Home, Oregon died Oct. 18, 2007.
He was born Sept. 26, 1910 in Eatonville, Wash. to James and Alma Gonia. During his life he lived in Washington and Oregon. He moved to Sweet Home in 1948 and lived there until his death.
Mr. Gonia worked with plywood and lumber at Willamette Industries, retiring in 1975. He loved hunting and fishing. He was a past exalted ruler of the Sweet Home Elks Lodge, in which he was active for many years.
He is survived by his daughter, Adrienne Gonia of St. Petersburg, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his wife Frances M. in 1988.
