An elderly Albany man is missing and police are asking for help in locating him.
In the early hours of Tuesday, Dec. 17, the caretaker of James Davis, 72, reported to police that he had not returned home after leaving the residence on foot earlier in the afternoon of Monday, Dec. 16. Davis was last seen wearing a red, green and blue jacket. He is 5 feet 10 inches, weighs approximately 180 pounds and is vision-impaired.
Officers and detectives have been actively searching and pinging his phone on a regular basis but his phone appears to be off.
Anyone who has seen Davis or has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to call 911 immediately.
