Alta Nell Pendergraft, 82, died Aug. 27, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis. She was a homemaker, and also worked in the dry cleaning business and as a clerk for the state of Oregon.
When her husband, Ernest Pendergraft, retired in 1984, they moved to Redmond. Mr. Pendergraft died in 1997 and shortly after she moved back to Sweet Home.
She is survived by her two brothers, Clyde Cooper Jr., of Sweet Home, and Larry Cooper, of Roseburg; sons Ernest D. Pendergraft of Vancouver, Wash. and Randy Pendergraft of Sweet Home; eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Leona Harris, of Meridian, Idaho in 2011.
A memorial service will be held at the Seventh Day Adventist church, 690 South 10th Avenue, Lebanon, at noon Sunday, Sept. 9.
