Katie Virtue, a sophomore outfielder for the Oregon Institute of Technology softball team, is batting .345 for the Owls, who were 13-3 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play and 20-13 on the season going into a doubleheader at Corban Tuesday, April 5.
Virtue leads the team in plate appearances, with 113 going into this week’s games, and has committed no errors on defense.
