Alvin “Al” Harry Weed, 84, of Sweet Home, formerly of Alaska, died Sept. 17, 2022.
He was born Aug. 23, 1938, in Lebanon to Harvey and Myrtle (Van Epps) Weed. He grew up on the family farm in Sweet Home.
Entering the U.S. Army gave him the first opportunity to live and work in his beloved Alaska.
