Ames Creek crash

Sheriff’s Deputy Bruce Davis surveys the scene of a one-car crash Wednesday morning, Jan. 28, just after 8 a.m. on Ames Creek Drive. According to a Sheriff’s report, the 1995 Honda Civic Del Sol, operated by a “juvenile 16-year-old driver,” was traveling westbound around a curve to the right on Ames Creek when it slid across the eastbound lane and rolled down the gravel shoulder on the south side of the road, hitting a tree, about a quarter mile west of the bridge. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the driver was cited for failure to maintain lane and was transported by a family member to Lebanon Community Hospital for treatment of “minor injuries.”
