Annette Hilburn, 81, of Sweet Home, passed away Dec. 19, 2025.
She was born July 22, 1944, to Mary E. (Kuckenbaker) and Robert A. Blackwell in Salinas, Calif.
She grew up in California and moved to Oregon in 1970. She worked at various canneries, White Electronics and was a day care provider for over 20 years.
Annette liked horses, enjoyed gardening and loved to go camping with her family.
She is survived by her son, John C. Hilburn; her daughter, Nancy A. Hendrix; sister Kathy McDermott; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Hilburn; sisters Irene Johnson and Joan Huff; and her parents, Robert and Mary Blackwell.
A memorial reception took place Dec. 22 in the reception room of Sweet Home Funeral Chapel. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Laton, Calif., later in the spring. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
