As we prepare to celebrate Doctors’ Day on March 30, we are pleased to acknowledge and thank the hundreds of dedicated physicians who work in Samaritan Health Services’ hospitals and clinics in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties.
Physicians are vital leaders in the delivery of health care. In addition to the important work they do every day, they contribute to our communities and quality of life in many other ways through volunteerism and civic engagement. Some are also involved in preparing the next generation of physicians through their work with medical students and residents.
They also are helping to lead the transformation of our health care delivery system to one that increasingly focuses on preventive health services while providing exemplary care for those who are ill or injured.
We often hear it expressed that we are most fortunate to have access to such high-quality, well- regarded health care in our region.
We agree, and our physicians are a critical part of the reason why.
