Arts Guild seeks auto photos
Linn County Arts Guild invites local photographers to submit mounted, framed and ready-to-hang photos of automotive themes for its third annual Photo Show. The show will run Aug. 1 through Sept. 2 at 846 Main St. in Lebanon. The theme this year is Cars. The show will be free and open to the public. For more information, call (541) 497-0386.
Free Lebanon weekly concerts
Lebanon’s annual summer Concerts in the Park series takes place on Tuesday evenings through August, in Academy Square, next to the Lebanon Library, 55 Academy St. Concerts are free and run from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring your own goodies and seating.

SHHS Class of 68 Reunion Aug. 12
Sweet Home High School Class of 1968 will be holding its 55-year class reunion on August 12 at the private park behind Gindhart Nursery on 30274 Peoria Rd. near Shedd. The festivities begin at noon, and lunch will be served at 1:30 p.m.. Donations to cover costs will be accepted. There will be a group photo taken between 2:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Please spread the word if you know any Class of 68 graduates or anyone who was in the Class of 68 but didn’t graduate from Sweet Home High School. West River Trail Walk Aug. 12
Build Lebanon Trails will hold a walk along new and planned trail sections from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 12, starting at Gills Landing. The walk will highlight the new and planned West River Trail and the new trail proposed to cross Gill’s Landing. At Gill’s Landing the new trail will connect the Old Mill Trail with a new trail crossing the park and connecting to the riverside trail (West River Trail) in River Park. The existing paved trail in River Park will be extended towards the north and provide a location for a future extension of the West River Trail. Waterloo church VBS
Waterloo Chapel will host Vacation Bible School from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 14-18 at 39480 Gross St. The event, for the entire family, will include Bible lessons, prizes, games, snacks and lots of puppets.
