Samaritan offering

CNA training

Samaritan Health Services is making it easier than ever to become a certified nursing assistant with the Nursing Assistant Training Program.

Candidates accepted into the program will be hired as nursing assistants with full benefits, including medical and dental. They are placed into a Samaritan Health Services CNA 1 class and receive necessary training to test for an Oregon CNA 1 license.

After completing licensure requirements, candidates will begin working as certified nursing assistants, and may be offered the opportunity to take the CNA 2 class.

Within this program, these classes will be provided at no cost and program participants are even paid for class time.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and participants must be willing and able to complete a basic life support class, if they do not already have BLS certification. As part of this program, participants agree to work for Samaritan Health Services for a minimum of two years following licensure.
