SAFE rubber duck

fund-raiser tickets

Senior Alcohol-Free Entertainment organizers are holding the 2015 SAFE Duck Race Saturday, April 25.

The SAFE party will be held June 5, the night of graduation, to provide alcohol-free activities for graduating seniors.

Donors can adopt a rubber duck to float down Ames Creek from Sankey Park to 12th Avenue. Cost of adopting a duck is $5 each. Buy as many as you want. The goal is to sell 800 ducks – no more, no less.

Winners do not have to be present. Each duck will be numbered and the first one across the finish line will win. Ticket numbers will be mixed so purchasers have a better chance at winning.

The first duck across the line will win its “owner” $400, or 10 percent of the sales total if it is less than 800 ducks. Second place will win $250 or 6 percent of sales, and third will win $150 or 4 percent.
