Gifts for Marines
being collected
The Marine Corps Family Foundation is once again preparing to ship holiday packages to our troops in war zones. Holiday foods and treats as well as small gifts will be included. Care packages are sent all year, but at the holidays it’s even more important.
Steelhead Strength & Fitness Center on Main Street is a drop off site for donations and a list of suggested items may also be picked up there. Monetary donations to help with mailing costs are needed as well and should be sent to Operation Santa, P.O. Box 874, Lebanon, OR 97355.
MCFF is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit and 100 per cent volunteer so all donations are used for direct troop support of all branches of the military.
Contact Anita Allen at 258-8239 and provide a mailing address if you have a local family member deployed and would like to have a package sent to them, or if you have any questions.
