E. Linn Museum needs support
The East Linn Museum needs members and volunteers.
The museum, a prominent attraction in Sweet Home, last year welcomed visitors from as far away as Germany and Scotland and from 15 other states.
Volunteers provide care and careful management of the museum and its extensive collection of Sweet Home history, while members provide its financial support. Annual membership dues of $10, $25 or $50 provide income for the museum’s operating expenses. Volunteers serve on the board and greet visitors three days a week or on scheduled tours.
To contribute to the museum as a member and/or a volunteer call (541) 367-4580, e-mail or stop by between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday or Saturday.
Board members will be elected at the annual meeting Thursday, Sept. 4. Individuals interested in serving on the board may contact the museum or any of the current board members: Glenda Hopkins, Gail Gregory, Velma and Dick Cook, Charlene Adams, Terri Lanini or Roberta McKern.
