Elks Drago golf tournament open
The Sweet Home Elks are holding their annual Howard Drago Memorial Golf Tournament June 19-21 in a little different fashion than usual at Pineway Golf Course.
Each team will receive 18 holes of golf for each player, a coupon to redeem for a burger and two beverages that can be used for up to one year at the Elks or Pineway (after reopening), and a sleeve of golf balls.
Golfers will have the option of playing anytime that weekend to score, or may save their golfing for another day that they choose.
Cost for a foursome is $240. Individual registration is $60. Proceeds go to various kids programs sponsored by the Elks, including the Hoop Shoot, Americanism Essay and Eye Poster contests, the Boys & Girls Club, 4-H, Alumni Trees for Scholars, Casey Eye Clinic Donation and many other projects.
A category called “Add Ons” allows those who don’t want to golf to donate to local business relief, while being entered in a drawing for 2021 Oregon Jamboree tickets.
