The Sweet Home Ranger District is offering a Fall Edible Mushrooms excursion Friday, Oct. 28.
This is a moderate, approximately two-mile hike. Come prepared for an exciting day of learning to identify local varieties of edible mushrooms in the forest. Bring a small collecting knife and bags or baskets.
Plan on spending the day and make sure to bring appropriate clothing, footwear and lunch. You also will need a picking bucket.…
