The deadline for fifth- and sixth-grade basketball registration at the Sweet Home Boys and Girls Club is Nov. 5.
To be assured of a spot on a team, athletes must be registered and paid by the deadline.
Those registering after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list and added to teams if there is room.
Also, there will be a $10 late fee and scholarships will not be available after the deadline.
The registration cost is $50, and the athlete must be a current member of the Boys and Girls Club of Sweet Home to register.
All additional fees owed to the Club must be paid before an athlete may register.
The club is looking for quality people who are interested in coaching, said Shari Smith, branch and athletic director. “This is a great way to have a positive influence on the youth of our community.”
The club also seeks team sponsors and officials, she said. Anyone interested may contact the club at 367-6421.
