The Huskies came out on top, 6-5, in an eight-inning battle against North Marion on the baseball diamon at home on April 11.

“This was a great win against a good team,” Coach Dan Tow said. “Kyle Pettit really did a great job on the mound, and he hit the ball very well too. .

“Trevor Tagle had a big night hitting, and he really ran the bases well,” Tow said. I also thought Adam Matuszak hit the ball well. Derrick Ward got the biggest hit of the night with a drive to right center to drive in Chaz Davis and win the game in the bottom of the eighth.”

At bat, Tagle went 3-4 with a double and three runs. Pettit went 3-4 with a double and two RBIs. Matuszak went 2-4 with a double. Ward went 1-3 with the game-winning hit.
