Becky Hurst marries Andy Franklin

Becky Hurst and Andy Franklin were married at Elm Street Baptist Church on May 10, 2008.

Pastor Ralph Anderegg officiated with 250 attending.

Mrs. Franklin is the daughter of Russ and Bev Hurst of Sweet Home. She is a physical therapy aide.

Mr. Franklin is the son of Bill and Eileen Franklin of Bend. He is a Linn County Sheriff’s Deputy.

Maid of honor was Jennifer Patrow. Connie Davey was the bridesmaid.

Candlelighters were Brent and Sarah Hurst, the brother and sister of the bride. Flower girls were Jessica, Allison and Abigail Hurst, nieces of the bride, and Kali and Cassi Franklin, nieces of the groom.

Best man was Tim Alexander, and groomsman was Brooke Turner. Ushers were Matt Bostrom, Lars Arndt and Chris Franklin.

Ring bearers were Ethan Hurst, nephew of the bride, and Austin Franklin, nephew of the groom.

The bride’s father, Russ Hurst, gave away the bride.

The couple honeymooned in the San Juan Islands and Victoria, B.C., and now reside in Albany.

The bride’s theme was 1930s, and a 1930s Model A sedan was the couple’s getaway vehicle.

Ring bearers wore suspenders, black bow ties and derby hats.

Flowers included peonies, tulips, roses and a spring assortment arranged by the bride’s aunts, Milli Horton and Bonnie Arndt.
