Bernice A. Simkins, 77, of Sweet Home, died May 2, 2006 at Twin Oaks Rehab Center.
She was born Nov. 30, 1928, in Ambrose, N.D., to George and Mary Ellen (Knox) Leininger.
She graduated from Westby High School in Montana. She was a Lutheran. She moved to Sweet Home from Brownsville in 1993.
