She was born March 30, 1927 in Alameda, Calif. to John Arthur and Grace Ellen (Whitlock) Leslie.
She graduated from McClatchy High School in Sacramento, Calif. In the early 1980’s she moved from Auburn, Calif. to Florence then moved to Sweet Home in 2004.
