Betty Bagley

Betty Elaine (Daniels) Bagley, 91, of Sweet Home, passed away Feb. 8, 2026.
She was born Nov. 4, 1934 in Revillo, S.D., to Fred and Susie (Crowell) Daniels.
In June 1940 she came to Sweet Home with her parents, three siblings, her maternal grandparents and five unmarried aunts and uncles. Betty was the oldest of nine children.
She attended Sweet Home High School, graduating in 1952, and later attended Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa, Idaho.
Betty met Timothy Bagley in Corvallis and they married in August 1957.
Living in Svenson, in Clatsop County, Tim was involved in logging, and their children, Gary, Brenda, Luanne and Sharon were born there.
In 1966 they moved to Estacada, then to Sweet Home in 1982.
Betty and Tim were active in their communities and in the churches they attended. Betty used her musical abilities as church pianist and organist, also playing for weddings and memorial services.
Betty is survived by her children, five siblings, many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tim (2006); her parents; two brothers and one sister.
A memorial Service will be at 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 28, at First Baptist Church in Brownsville. Graveside service was on Feb. 12 at Gilliland Cemetery.
