Betty Ingram

Betty Dodge Ingram, 63, formerly of Sweet Home, died Feb. 9, 2011 in Salem.

She was born July 28, 1947 to Howard and Ginny Dodge. She grew up in Sweet Home.

Mrs. Ingram lived in Salem and worked for the federal government employee. She enjoyed wood carving, sewing, crafts, family genealogy and cooking. She was a member of Capitol Woodcarvers and the Covered Bridge Society.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Ingram of Salem; sons Howard and daughter-in-law Jennifer Moore of Bagley, Minn., John and daughter-in-law Kristine Moore of Salem, and Kevin and daughter-in-law Laura Ingram of Yamhill; daughters Cindy and son-in-law Rick Hughes of Battle Ground, Wash., and Chelsee and son-in-law Steve Blattner of Independence; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Ingram; and her parents.

A memorial celebration of life was held Feb. 12 at Woodburn Senior Estates. Memorial contributions may be made to Capitol Woodcarvers.
