Betty Ann Pitts, 88, of Sweet Home died March 28, 2014.
She was born Sept. 8, 1925 in Nowata, Okla. to Alta and Raymond Riley. She grew up in and around Independence, Kan.
During World War II she received her teaching certificate from Independence College. She taught school until the end of the war.
She married Kenneth Pitts after the war and they moved to Klamath Falls. Three…
