The deadline for baseball and softball registrations at the Boys and Girls Club of Sweet Home is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28.
All players registered by Feb. 28 will be placed on a team. Those who do not register by that deadline will be automatically put on a waiting list and added to teams if spaces are available.
Late registrants will also be charged a late fee. All payments are due at registration. Partial scholarships are available on a limited basis.
Player evaluations for seventh- and eighth-graders will be at 9 a.m. on March 1 at Roy Johnston Park. Fifth- and sixth-grade evaluations will follow at 11:30 a.m.
Evaluations for third- and fourth-graders will be at 9 a.m. on March 8 at Roy Johnston Park. Youths in second grade, who are 8 and have already participated in machine pitch, may attend evaluations.
All players who are in third grade or above must attend evaluations. Those who cannot attend should contact Shari at the Sweet Hope club.
Quality coaches are needed for baseball and softball. Those interested should fill out a coach’s application. Also, those interested in sponsoring a team should contact the club at (541) 367-6421.
