A bicyclist was injured when he was hit in a crosswalk at 18th Avenue and Main Street Friday morning.
At 11:30 a.m., paramedics and police officers responded to a report of the accident.
Jeremy Lambert, 23, was transported to Lebanon Community Hospital.
He had been riding his bicycle eastbound on the sidewalk on the north side of Main Street.
Driver Bonnie Evans, 55, was stopped southbound on 18th Avenue for a red light and preparing to turn westbound onto Main Street.
According to the investigation at this point, Lambert rode his bicycle against a wait signal into the crosswalk into Evans’ path, Police Chief Bob Burford said.
The investigation remains open. No citations had been issued as of Monday.
