An elderly bicyclist was injured Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 17, in a collision with a vehicle near Hilltop Market in Foster.
According to a Sweet Home Police report, at approximately 5:04 p.m. Sweet Home Police and Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District personnel responded to a vehicle collision in the 4800 block of Main Street involving a white 2007 four-door Buick and a bicyclist.
The bicyclist, Elige Adams, 82, of Sweet Home was transported by Sweet Home fire personnel to Lebanon Community Hospital. He was reported to have non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The operator of the vehicle, was Thomas Lancaster, 67, of Sweet Home. Lancaster was traveling west in the 4800 block of Main Street when the collision occurred, police said.
Several witnesses told police that Adams was riding southbound across Main Street when the collision occurred.
The incident remains under investigation, police said.
