The Hunter’s Moon rises above Foster Lake Sunday night, Oct. 9. Also called the “sanguine,” or “Blood” Moon, Hunter’s Moon is traditionally used to refer to the full moon that appears during the month of October, also historically signaling the ideal time for hunting leading up to winter.
