The District 55 School Board approved, Monday night, a proposed contract with GLAS, a Eugene architectural firm, to develop plans for construction at Hawthorne Elementary and the high school.
Estimates for the work at Hawthorne have increased since the passage of an $18.6 million bond in May. Initial estimates for the work were between $650,000 and $670,000, including the construction of four new classrooms and a stage on the south end of the gym. This…
