Bonnie Jean Morehead, 78, of Sweet Home, died Sept. 26, 2022.
She was born March 9, 1944, in Lebanon to Wesley Soloman and Lillian Rose (Kliewer) Strubhar.
She graduated from Sweet Home Union High School in 1962 and lived in Sweet Home her entire life.
Mrs. Morehead worked for Dr. Dowling in her early married years.
She was a member of the Highway 20 Church of Christ for many years and was a Sunday School teacher for 24 years. She also played the organ for the church for 60 years.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and sewing. She loved fishing, camping and hunting with the family.
Mrs. Morehead is survived by her husband, Roland Morehead of Sweet Home; sons Doug and daughter-in-law Dana Morehead of Sweet Home, and Kevin and and daughter-in-law Katrina Morehead of Lebanon; brother Ron and sister-in-law Linda of Portland; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Lillian Strubhar; brothers Herb and Gary Strubhar; and granddaughter Larissa Morehead.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at Highway 20 Church of Christ, 3025 Highway 20, Sweet Home.
