Junction City slipped by the Husky boys soccer team 1-0 on Oct. 13 at Junction City.
“We probably had our best individual performance from our goalie, Michael Bolduc,” Coach Karl Schmidtman said. He had 11 saves against 26 shots by Junction City.
Of those shots, Junction City scored only once, Schmidtman said. He credited an outstanding defense for keeping Junction City away from high-percentage shots and Bolduc for stopping closer shots.
