Sweet Home beat Elmira 62-58 last week, ending an eight-game losing streak before falling 53-33 to Sutherlin in boys varsity basketball.
“We got a win on senior night, so that was fun,” said Coach Drew Emmert.
It was the team’s first win in league following a bumpy 5-7 non-league schedule.
At home Feb. 14, the Huskies built a small lead in the first quarter, 11-8.
