Jayce Calhoon was named most valuable player on the high school boys water polo team at the annual awards dessert held on Nov. 9. He also received first-team all-league honors.
Joel Gunselman was named most inspirational. Michael Simmonds was rookie of the year. David Worthen was most improved.
First-year letters went to freshmen Jayce Calhoon, Kieran Schaefer and Michael Simmonds; sophomore David Worthen; and junior Brinden Sanders.Second-year letters went to juniors Shawn Adams, Zach Fecth and Jonathan Lemar. Junior Joel Gunselman received his third letter in water polo.
