Parents and students got a chance to chow down Monday morning, Aug. 31, on the first day at school, as free breakfast was served for all.
School officials said a lot of parents and other volunteers helped make the event happen, including: Mindy Perry and Wendy Pollock, who ran the coffee bar; Sayer and her husband Austin, who provided the griddles; and Jenna Becker, Travis Northern, and Cirillo and his wife Lori, “who were here before the chickens were up, helping to set up,” school secretary Cyndi Rinehart said.
