Brenda Bradford
July 21, 1961 – March 28, 2025
Brenda “Brinda” Faye Bradford, 63, of Sweet Home, passed away March 28, 2025.
She was born July 21, 1961 to Fern Suezanne (Howard) and James Everett Bradford in Battle Creek, Mich.
She grew up in Michigan, then lived in Philomath, Corvallis and Portland before returning to South Haven, Mich., in 1992 where she lived until 2020, before moving back to Portland. Brenda came to Sweet Home 2023.
Brenda was a home health care giver. She enjoyed her job, she was a ray of sunshine for those she worked with and cared for.
She loved live music and festivals. She fiercely loved her siblings, children, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Family for her wasn’t always blood either – close friends and youths she took under her wing were just as important to her as blood family.
Brenda loved nature, camping, and exploring untouched natural places. She loved to travel, roam and see vistas new to her. She liked to knit and do paint-by-numbers, and she loved watching YouTube videos on the supernatural and history.
Brenda is survived by her siblings, Linda S. Smith, of Bloomingdale, Mich., and Peggie Lynne Garrison of Delton, Mich; and children Tiffany Lynn Grau-Fay of Olympia, Wash., James Everett Bradford II of Corvallis, and Perry Jerold Bradford of Snake River; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Everett Bradford (2023); and mother Fern Suezanne Howard (2000).
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
