Bret J. Jeppsen, 63, of Sweet Home, died Sept. 15, 2021 in Corvallis.
He was born May 16, 1958 in Lebanon, the son of Jackie and Josephine “Jody” Jeppsen, one of five children, with siblings Dennis Jeppsen, Sonja Bain, Tia Jeppsen and Bart Jeppsen.
Mr. Jeppsen attended Sweet Home High School and Linn-Benton Community College. He worked as a logger, then for Willamette Industries’ Sweet Home Mill for a decade before moving on to become a millwright electrician for multiple companies.
Mr. Jeppsen enjoyed fishing, hunting and being in the woods, especially hunting with his grandsons. He played baseball and basketball when he was young and coached all his daughters’ softball teams. He was an avid gun collector.
Mr. Jeppsen is survived by his daughters, Aimee Brown, Monica Graves and Katie Gosnell; 14 grandchildren, Brentan, Hallie, Rylen, Addison, Christian, Beth, Titus, Sydney-Anne, Cadence, Evangeline, Daphne, Xander, Zeek and Eliza; and his partner, Cheri Dell.
He was preceded in death by his father; and Rhonda Ashley.
A celebration of life/potluck will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at Sweet Home Veterans Club.
