In her third year as an Oregon resident, Denise Hoffert-Hay says the winter green of the Pacific Northwest is a welcome change from the winters of North Dakota and Minnesota.
Hoffert-Hay is the new Calapooia Watershed coordinator, on board for just a month.
She graduated from high school in Bismarck, North Dakota and earned a degree in environmental science from the University of Minnesota.
