Calvin O. Turner, 92, formerly of Sweet Home, passed away June 13, 2023.
Calvin was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Golden, Okla., to Mamie & Clarence Turner. He married his wife Helen, May 23, 1950.
Calvin and Helen moved to Sweet Home in 1952.
Calvin worked for Willamette Industries for many years until he retired. His hobbies included fishing and gardening.
He was active in his church and he and Helen were always helping others. Calvin was a loving husband and father.
He easily made friends and will be missed by all who knew him.
Calvin is survived by his three daughters, Brenda Benham (husband John) of Eugene, Sandra Heuer ( husband Henry) of Lafayette and Terry Hughes (husband Wes) of Salem; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Calvin was preceded in death by his wife, Helen; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; his parents; and his siblings.
