Local exotic animal enthusiast Frank McCubbins brought his Bacterian camel, Big Mac, to the Sweet Home Library Wednesday, turning heads along Long Street as he and the camel ambled over to visit Santiam Feed store between sessions at the library.
Librarian Sandi Leonard said the camel was a big hit with the children who came to the Summer Reading Program two weeks ago.
