Cara “Tootie” Mae Simpkins, 53, of Sweet Home died Aug. 13, 2015 in Albany.
She was born July 27, 1962 in Texas to Burl Simpkins and Francis Ventura. She was raised primarily in Texas and New Mexico, and moved to Oregon in 1989.
She enjoyed camping, hiking and riding motorcycles.
Mrs. Simpkins is survived by her son Brady and daughter-in-law Nichole Simpkins of Sweet Home; mother Francis Ventura of Lebanon; and two grandchildren.
A celebration of life is planned for 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Cascadia State Park.
