Carly Richards marries Jason Dolan

Carly Richards and Jason Dolan were married in Ukiah, Calif., at their home, Dark Horse Vineyard, on July 30 by Rev. Raymond Wilmers in a double-ring ceremony.

About 250 attended the wedding.

Mrs. Dolan is the daughter of Steve and Marilyn Richards of Sweet Home. She is a 1991 graduate of Sweet Home High School. She earned her bachelor of arts in English at the University of Oregon in 1995. She graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco of Law in 2001. She is an attorney for the Mendocino County Public Defender’s Office in Ukiah.

Mr. Dolan, the son of Lynne Hartlip of Ukiah, Calif., and Paul Dolan of Heraldsburg, Calif., is a 1989 graduate of Ukiah High School. He earned his degree in business administration from the University of San Diego in 1993. He is self-employed as owner of Dark Horse Vineyard in Ukiah.

Maid of honor was sister of the bride, Traci Volle of Seattle, Wash. Bridesmaids were Devon Dorfer of New York City; Julie Lombardi of Dallas, Texas; and Shannon Lindsay of Ukiah.

Best man was Ryan Smith of Ukiah. Ushers were Heath Dolan of Ukia, Nya Dolan of Seattle and Kevin Hammond of San Diego.

The bride was given away by her father.

The bride wore a Monique Lhullier white silk sheath with crystal spaghetti straps.

Bridesmaids wore sleeveless black chiffon dresses with vintage gold necklaces.

The bride’s bouquet was plum-colored dahlias, maidenhair fern and pheasant feathers.

Bridesmaid bouquets were of mixed locally grown perennials.

Music was by Eric and Suzy Thompson, a local bluegrass band.

The couple’s three grandmothers were in attendance. They included Lavida Richards and Edna Garber of Sweet Home and Agnus Calleri of Ukiah.

A dinner and dance followed the ceremony at the vineyard.

The couple spent a three-week honeymoon in Panama and Costa Rica.

The newlyweds reside in Ukiah.
