Carolyn D. Coelho, 79, of Sweet Home died Sept. 5, 2013.
She was born Sept. 5, 1934 in Pampa, Texas to Luther and Paul-ine (Harsh) Head. From Texas, her family moved to Cypress, Calif. She lived there until moving to Sweet Home in 2001.
Mrs. Coelho is the mother of six boys. She was a Century 21 Realtor and owned and operated a Christmas Tree Farm – Manuel’s Top Quality Christmas Trees.
She was a quilter and enjoyed crafting of all kinds, including Swedish weaving. She loved cooking and collecting recipes, spending time with her family and sharing good cooked food. The family were all avid fishermen and have a lot of “fish stories” to share.
Mrs. Coelho is survived by her husband Manuel of Sweet Home; sons John of Springfield, Manuel Jr. of Sweet Home, Danny of Chino Hills, Calif., Frank of Riverside, Calif., David of Lakewood, Calif, and Stephen of Menifee, Calif.; sisters Ellen Pepperdine of Yreka, Calif., Judy Schmidt of Sweet Home and Sandy Launder of Sweet Home; brother James Marburger; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister Gwendolyn.
Memorial services were held Sept. 8 at Riverside Christian Church in Sweet Home.
