Carrie Lee Totman, 69, of Cascadia, lost her battle to cancer on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, surrounded by her family.
She was born July 25, 1953 in Lebanon to Harold Gerald and Carrie Jane (Bell) Canfield.
Carrie Lee lived in Sweet Home until 1972, when she moved to Cascadia. She married Russell Totman Sept. 1, 1972.
She served her community as an iconic waitress for 30 plus years at the Skyline Restaurant and then finished her career at The Point restaurant.
She loved her customers as much as they loved her. She would never let anyone go away hungry, even if that meant she paid for their meal herself.
She had the biggest heart of gold and always wanted to help people. Her absolute love of her life was her family, her true joy in life. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
She will be greatly missed.
Carrie Lee is survived by her husband, Russell Totman of Cascadia; children Mindy (Totman) and her husband Kelly Lee, and Jeremy and his wife Trish Totman, all of Sweet Home; four grandchildren, Tanner Lee, Jared Lee, Kaden Totman and Ali Totman, and great-grandson Mason Lee, all of Sweet Home; siblings Cheryl Yeats, Connie Forum, Mick Canfield, Patrick Canfield, Candi Whitton, Jeff Canfield, Cheri Canfield; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cathy Canfield; and her parents.
Private burial at Gilliland Cemetery will take place at a future date.
Memorial contributions can be made in her name to a cancer research center or a charity of your choice.
Sweet Home Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
