Cascadia man arrested in LCSO marijuana raid

A Cascadia man was arrested Thursday afternoon, July 30, on charges relating to an alleged illegal marijuana growing operation, Sheriff Tim Mueller said.

Linn County Sheriff’s Office detectives went to a residence at 48841 Santiam Highway about 1:30 p.m. Thursday, where they seized 20 marijuana plants from both an indoor and outdoor grow site, he said. Also seized were miscellaneous grow equipment, marijuana paraphernalia and a small amount of processed marijuana, Mueller said.

Jerry William Robert Few, age 36, was arrested for manufacturing a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was cited to appear Linn County Circuit Court and released.

At the time of the contact, the suspect’s 2 1/2-year-old child was sleeping in the house, Mueller said.
