Fire destroyed the former Cascadia School Saturday morning and afternoon, then moved to the adjacent Cascadia Post Office, burning it as well.
The blaze, reported just after 11 a.m., roared through the former schoolhouse at 48084 Highway 20, destroying a number of valuable automobiles and engines stored there by the owner of the property , Bob Hubler, who operated a machine shop and garage at the location.
