Catherine Virginia Bush, 101, of Sweet Home died Jan. 11 2017, in Eugene from the effects of old age.
Mrs. Bus was born Aug. 3, 1915 in Farina, Ill., to Edward and Alice (Metzger) Kramer at the family farm in LaClede Township, Fayette County, Ill. She was the second of eight children.
She completed 11 years of education.
She married Carl Alwert in August 1933 in Edgewood, Ill. He died…
